Las Vegas is one of the most incredible cities on earth, a small stretch of land in the Mojave desert which has become one of the zaniest, most spectacular, fascinating and high octane cities in both the US and the world. Despite its size, there is so much to discover here in Las Vegas, and you could easily spend a month here and have a different experience each day. During your time here you will no doubt want to visit some of the Vegas attractions but there are also some activities which you must experience before leaving, and here they are.

Gambling

Whether you consider yourself a gambler or not, this is something which you simply have to do during your time in Vegas. Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the world and here you will find over 100 casinos, and thousands of casino games. Nobody is saying of course, that you have to go crazy with gambling, but you should at least look to try out some slot machines, or try your luck at the roulette table.

See The World

There is a common joke around Vegas that you can see the world here, and this is something which you should certainly try and do. The reason that you can do this is because the hotels here are so ostentatious, that you can see some of the world’s most iconic landmark replicas here. Visit the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel, witness the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and The Brooklyn Bridge at New York New York,  take a gondola onto the canals of the Venetian hotel and witness the Egyptian pyramids at the Luxor hotel, 4 cities in a single day.

Get a Birds-Eye View

One of the best views of Las Vegas is from above and you should definitely make some time to try and get a birds-eye view of the city. The best two ways to do this are to either take a helicopter tour across the bright lights of the city, a tour which is best done at night, or to visit Stratosphere. Stratosphere is the huge tower on the north side of the strip, with a restaurant on its top deck which offers views across the whole city. Even better, every 80 minutes, the restaurant rotates 360 degrees so no matter where you are sitting, you can count on that view.

Be Offended Eating Lunch

For a truly unique experience head to Dick’s Last Resort restaurant, a place that serves wonderful and service with a scowl. That’s right, this is a restaurant where the waiting staff are intentionally rude to you. It may sound wild and wacky, and that is because it definitely is, nonetheless, a visit is an experience which only Vegas can give you.

Photo At The Sign

It is an obligatory requirement for you to stop the cab on your way from the airport to your hotel, and get a photo taken in front of the Las Vegas sign. This is a sign which represents so much about the city, it has been used in movies and TV shows as long as one cares to remember, and a photo is simply a must-do activity.

What else are you looking forward to doing in Vegas?
