How To Cruise Like A Royal

Pacific Dawn

A little bit of etiquette is all it takes. Manners go a long way. It doesn’t matter what cruise that you are on, there is always a certain standard that should be met. You should always act as though you are on board the Pacific Dawn.

Dress Code

What fashion faux pas should you avoid packing? There are some simple things to keep in mind whilst packing. You are on a cruise therefore you need to dress for a public setting. You also need to keep in mind that the Cruise tries to provide varying social events. These may require specific attire; there may even be rules on a dress code. You will be providing with information about all the special events that the cruise will be holding, make sure you read over this thoroughly. You would hate to end up with nothing to wear to a special occasion. This is easily avoided.

Be on time

I know you’re on holiday but you still need to respect deadlines and time limits. If you’re late to scheduled events or reserved booking you may affect other people. Don’t be selfish, you aren’t the only one on holiday.

Children

Family holidays are a great way to bring the family together and create beautiful memories. The majority, if not all, cruises cater for children. They have entertainment and care services available. It is still up to you to manage your children; this is for the safety of them and the other passengers. The comfort of the other passengers also needs to be taken into account. If you want some well-deserved relaxation time schedule the kids in for some supervised activities. This will also be great way for them to make friends.

Consideration

You aren’t the only one on the cruise and your room is certainly not sound proof. You need to be considerate of those around you. There is nothing worse than being interrupted whilst relaxing by some inconsiderate loud mouth. You wouldn’t appreciate it, don’t be that one annoying loud mouth.

Moderation

You’re on holiday but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself in moderation. You need to be considerate of those people surrounding you. Don’t overindulge in food and alcohol; you’ll most likely regret it later. You don’t want to watch someone overeat or someone fall down in a drunken state. So why would someone want to see you be that person?

Positivity

Negative Nancy’s will be thrown overboard. There are always challenges on holiday, it’s inevitable. Your attitude or reaction is what can really affect your holiday. There may be long lines, annoying passengers and minor technical or administration problems. Maintain a positive attitude and enjoy your holiday.
Keep these tips in mind and you are sure to have a smashing time. Don’t let others bother you and don’t bother other passengers. Good karma does exist, you shall see for yourself.
